Kenyon Chapter - New Jersey Association for the Education of Young Children

Workshops & Conferences

Kenyon conferences & workshops are highly attended events that allow teachers and assistants, scholars and practitioners, experts and interns–participants in every aspect of the Early Childhood Education field, to gather and learn from one another.

We believe that early childhood educators are professionals who should be valued and respected. Join us to promote high professional standards and comprehensive training opportunities.  Your childcare center or school may be part of NAEYC’s voluntary national accreditation system, which helps improve early childhood education programs and recognizes high-quality programs so parents can make informed choices. Many workshops offered through Kenyon Chapter focus on issues such as teaching reading and writing, licensing to ensure health and safety, and ideas for supporting families which will count toward the NAEYC accreditation required training topics.  Even if your center does not participate in the accreditation program, these trainings will count toward your DYFS required training hours and topics.

As a Kenyon Chapter member, many of these professional development opportunities are offered at no charge.  They are a benefit included in your membership dues!  At most conferences and trainings, CEU’s are available.  Not sure if you need a CEU packet in addition to the professional development certificate?  Click CEU Information for more information on CEU’s.
